As a young man I was always fascinated with my Norwegian and Viking heritage. As a stone carver and monument designer, it was natural for me to explore the world of Viking runes. The Runic alphabets and pictographs told stories from the Viking age and I am creating modern applications for the traditional rune stones.
Learning the monument trade exposed me to new challenges. From the fragility of marble to the hardness of granite & the
individual characteristics of other stone, I realized that each required different techniques to reveal their natural beauty.
